The Igbo Jamaria Foundation is calling on the Nigerian Embassy in Tripoli Libya for the extortion, Intimidation on Nigerians in Gatron and entire Libya.
The Nigerians and the Igbo Community in Gatron are law abiding citizens of the country. They have been the obeying the law and rule of the country. They legally possed the legal & required Identification cards which were introduced by the Libya Government, yet their properties were looted and they are being tortured and humiliated.
Recent action involved some pregnant women and children. We are calling on the United Nations, NATO , African Union and The Nigerian High Commission Libya to Swiftly go for their rescue.
Furthermore, they are being starved and detained in an dirty environment. They are not being taken good care of and also deny them of their human rights.
They were forcefully and illegally arrested
We are calling on the authorities to go for their rescue.
